1 About Our Masterclasses

Mr K Psychology currently offers the following live online Masterclass series:

Additional Masterclasses covering other AQA A-Level Psychology topics may be offered. Where a new series launches, these Terms apply unless separate terms are published for that series.

2 Registration

How to Register

• All registrations are completed via the registration form on mrkpsychology.co.uk or via our booking link
• You must provide accurate name, email address, and year group information
• For participants under 18, a parent or guardian name and email address must be provided, and the parental consent checkbox must be completed
• Registration is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us

Capacity and Waiting Lists

• Each Masterclass session is capped at 15 participants to maintain session quality
• Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
• If a session is full, you may join a waiting list and will be contacted if a place becomes available
• We reserve the right to refuse registration at our discretion

Confirmation

• A confirmation email containing the Zoom link and any preparatory materials will be sent within 48 hours of registration (and no later than 24 hours before the session)
• It is your responsibility to ensure our emails are not going to your spam folder
• If you have not received a confirmation email within 48 hours, contact us at mrkpsychology1@gmail.com

3 Payment — Session B (Paid Masterclasses)

Pricing and Payment

• Session B is priced at £45 per person
• All prices are in GBP (British Pounds)
• Mr K Psychology is not currently VAT registered; no VAT is charged
• Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of registration
• Your place is only confirmed once full payment has been received
• We accept all major credit and debit cards

Free Session A

Session A is free of charge. No payment is required. However, registration is still required to secure a place, and all other Terms in this document apply.

4 Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by You — Free Sessions (Session A)

• If you can no longer attend, please email us as soon as possible so your place can be offered to someone on the waiting list
• No charge applies for cancellation of free sessions

Cancellation by You — Paid Sessions (Session B)

Non-Attendance

• If you do not attend the session, no refund will be issued
• Where a session replay is included in the package, non-attending registered participants will still receive replay access

Cancellation by Mr K Psychology

• In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a session, all registered participants will be notified by email as soon as possible
• For paid sessions, a full refund will be issued automatically within 7 days, or participants may transfer to an alternative date at their choice
• We are not liable for any consequential costs arising from a cancellation on our part
• We reserve the right to reschedule sessions; participants will be given reasonable notice and the option to receive a full refund if the new date is unsuitable

5 Session Access and Technical Requirements

Platform

• All Masterclasses are delivered live via Zoom
• The Zoom link will be provided in your confirmation email
• You are responsible for ensuring you have a working Zoom account and a stable internet connection
• We recommend joining the session 5–10 minutes early to test your audio and connection

Technical Requirements

• A device capable of running Zoom (laptop, tablet, or desktop recommended for the best experience)
• Stable internet connection
• Working audio (microphone and speakers/headphones)
• We are not responsible for technical issues on your end that prevent or disrupt attendance
• No refund is available for non-attendance caused by technical difficulties on the participant’s side

6 Camera Policy and Session Conduct

Camera Policy

• Mr K’s camera will remain on throughout all sessions for transparency and professional accountability
• Participant cameras are off by default in all group Masterclass sessions. This is a safeguarding measure to protect all participants’ privacy and home environments, and to ensure no participant’s setting is visible to others in the group
• Participants may use the Zoom chat function and audio to ask questions and engage with the session
• This camera policy is non-negotiable for group sessions and exists for the safety and comfort of all participants

Conduct During Sessions

• All participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally throughout the session
• Disruptive behaviour, offensive language, or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate removal from the session without refund
• The Zoom chat must be used only for educational questions and comments relevant to the session
• Mr K will not engage in private one-to-one chat with individual participants during group sessions
• All session content is educational and focused on AQA A-Level Psychology

7 Recording Policy

• Recordings capture Mr K’s screen, presentation, and audio only — participant cameras are off and therefore not recorded
• Participant names may appear in the Zoom participant list during the session; this data is not included in distributed recordings
• Recordings are made for the following purposes: safeguarding, quality assurance, and (where stated at registration) provision of replay access to registered participants
• Recordings are stored securely and deleted after 90 days, unless retention is required for a safeguarding matter or the recording is offered as a replay resource to participants
• Recordings are never shared with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes without separate explicit consent
• Where replay access is offered as part of the session package, this will be clearly stated at registration and the replay link will be provided to registered participants only

8 Parental Consent — Under-18 Participants

By completing the parental consent checkbox at registration, the parent or guardian confirms that they:

• Consent to their child’s participation in the Masterclass
• Have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions on their child’s behalf
• Have read and agree to the Mr K Psychology Safeguarding Policy
• Consent to the session being recorded in accordance with Section 7 of these Terms
• Understand the camera policy set out in Section 6
• Agree to provide their email address and remain contactable during the session in the event of a safeguarding concern

Students under 18 may not participate without confirmed parental consent. If parental consent is not provided, the registration will be cancelled and, for paid sessions, a full refund will be issued.

9 Intellectual Property and Materials

Session Content

• All session content — including presentations, handouts, workbooks, and verbal delivery — is the intellectual property of Mr K Psychology
• Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use any provided materials for their own study only
• Materials must not be shared, distributed, uploaded, or reproduced in any form

Prohibited Use

• Recording any part of the session (see Section 7)
• Sharing handouts, workbooks, or session materials with anyone not registered for that session
• Uploading materials to social media, file-sharing platforms, group chats, or any public forum
• Using session content for any commercial purpose

10 Replay Access

• Where replay access to the recorded session is offered as part of the registration package, this will be clearly stated at the point of registration
• Replay access is personal to the registered participant and must not be shared with others
• Replay links are provided for personal study use only and are subject to the same intellectual property restrictions as live sessions
• Replay access is time-limited (as stated at registration) and will expire after the specified period
• We cannot guarantee indefinite replay access; links may be withdrawn in accordance with our 90-day recording deletion policy unless extended replay access has been explicitly offered

11 Educational Disclaimer

• Content is aligned with the current AQA A-Level Psychology specification to the best of our knowledge
• Students should verify all information with official AQA materials and their school or college teachers
• Masterclasses are supplementary educational support and are not a substitute for school or college teaching

12 Data Protection

Personal data collected during registration is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. By registering, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy.

• We collect name, email, year group, and (for under-18s) parent/guardian details to administer your registration
• Parental consent records are retained for the duration of the service plus 3 years
• Registration data is retained for 12 months after the session
• Session recordings are retained for 90 days unless a safeguarding matter requires longer retention
• Payment details are processed by Stripe — we do not store card information

13 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Mr K Psychology’s total liability for any claim arising from a Masterclass shall not exceed the amount paid for that session
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
• We are not liable for technical failures on your end that prevent or disrupt attendance
• We are not liable for exam results, university admissions, or other educational outcomes

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

14 Changes to These Terms

• We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time
• The Terms in force at the time of your registration apply to that registration
• Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date
• Material changes will be communicated by email to registered participants

15 Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
• Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
• If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force
