Terms and Conditions — Products
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of educational resources and materials (“Products”) sold by Mr K Tutoring Ltd through mrkpsychology.co.uk and any associated checkout or payment link.
By purchasing any Product through any channel, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before buying.
1. Products
Digital products
- Study guides and revision notes, supplied as PDF or HTML
- Practice questions, question plans and mock papers
- Psychology studies reference materials
- Topic guides, evaluation materials and essay frameworks
- Recordings of previously delivered masterclasses, where offered
Physical products
- Printed study materials and revision guides
- Workbooks and other printed educational resources
Where a Product is offered on a recurring subscription basis, the recurring terms applicable to it will be stated clearly at checkout before you pay.
2. Placing an order
Order process
- Orders are placed through our checkout or a payment link we provide
- You must provide accurate contact and billing information
- You will receive an order confirmation email on successful purchase
- We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case you will be refunded in full
Pricing
- All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP)
- Mr K Tutoring Ltd is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is charged
- Prices may change at any time; the price you pay is the price displayed at the time of your order
Payment
- Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details
- We accept major credit and debit cards
- Payment must be received in full before access to digital Products is granted
- You are responsible for any bank fees or currency conversion charges applied by your own provider
3. Digital products — access and use
Delivery
- Digital Products are delivered by download link sent to the email address given at checkout, and are also available from your account on the website where applicable
- Access is normally granted immediately on payment, and within 24 hours at the latest
- Download links remain valid for 30 days from purchase. It is your responsibility to download and save your files within that period
- If a link expires or fails, contact us and we will reissue it
What you may do
- Download and save the materials for your own personal study
- Print copies for your own revision
- Access the materials on your own personal devices
What you may not do
- Share, distribute, resell, sublicense or otherwise make the Products available to any other person
- Upload the Products to any file-sharing site, cloud folder, messaging group, class group chat, learning platform, forum or social media
- Supply the Products to friends, classmates, family members, colleagues, students or a school or college
- Modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works from the Products
- Remove or alter any copyright notice, watermark or Mr K Psychology branding
- Use the Products for any commercial purpose, including paid tutoring or classroom teaching
- Use the Products, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, prompt or otherwise develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning system
Schools, colleges and tutors wishing to use these materials with students require a separate licence. Contact us and we will be glad to arrange one.
4. Physical products — delivery and returns
Delivery
- Physical Products are dispatched within 3 to 5 working days of order confirmation
- Delivery estimates are provided by the courier and may vary. We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service or courier
- You are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address
Returns
- You may cancel and return a physical Product within 14 days of receiving it, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
- Returned items must be unused and in a resaleable condition
- Return postage is payable by you, unless the item arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect, in which case we cover it
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the return
- If an item arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 14 days and we will replace or refund it
5. Digital products — cancellation and refunds
Digital Products are supplied immediately on purchase. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you would ordinarily have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. By completing your order and confirming at checkout that you want immediate access, you expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once the download begins.
This does not affect your statutory rights if a Product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. If a Product is faulty or does not match its description, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it as appropriate.
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us before anything else. Most issues are resolved quickly and informally.
6. Your data and privacy
We are the data controller for the personal information you provide. We take this seriously and keep it to the minimum needed.
What we collect and why
- Name and email address, to fulfil your order and provide support
- Billing and delivery details, to process payment and dispatch physical items
- Year group, where you provide it, so that the material we send you is relevant
How we handle it
- We do not sell your personal data. We never have and never will.
- We do not rent, trade, share or otherwise make your details available to any third party for their own marketing purposes
- We do not upload, publish or post your details anywhere
- Your details are shared only with the service providers we need to operate — our payment processor, email delivery provider and website host — and only so that they can perform that service for us
- We retain order records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes, and no longer than necessary
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, email mrk@mrkpsychology.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Marketing emails are sent only where you have opted in, and every email contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not affect your access to any Product you have purchased.
7. Intellectual property
- All content in the Products, including text, structure, formatting, question plans and design, is owned by Mr K Tutoring Ltd
- Purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the materials for your own study. It does not transfer ownership of anything
- All other intellectual property rights are reserved
References to AQA and to the AQA A-Level Psychology specification are descriptive only. Our Products are independently produced and are not endorsed by, affiliated with or approved by AQA.
8. Accuracy of materials
Our Products are prepared with care and are aligned to the current AQA A-Level Psychology specification (7182). They are study aids intended to support your revision. We do not guarantee any particular examination result, and no statement on our website or in our materials should be read as such a guarantee. Specifications and mark schemes are set by AQA and may change; you should always check the current specification.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with any Product is limited to the amount you paid for that Product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for examination outcomes.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order. The current version is always available on this page.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
