2. Placing an Order

Order Process

• All orders are placed through our WooCommerce checkout system
• You must provide accurate contact and billing information
• You will receive an order confirmation email upon successful purchase
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion

Pricing

• All prices are displayed in GBP (British Pounds)
• Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice
• The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of your order

Payment

• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• We accept major credit and debit cards
• Payment must be received in full before access to digital products is granted
• You are responsible for any bank fees or currency conversion charges
• For subscription products, recurring payments will be charged automatically to your payment method on file until cancelled

3. Digital Products – Terms of Use

Access and Delivery

• Digital products are delivered via download link sent to your email address
• You will receive access within 24 hours of payment confirmation (usually immediately)
• Download links are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase
• It is your responsibility to download and save the files within this period

Permitted Use

You may:

• Download and save digital products for your personal use
• Print copies for your own study purposes
• Access the materials on multiple personal devices

Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

• Share, distribute, or resell any digital products
• Upload products to file-sharing websites or platforms
• Make the materials available to others (including friends, classmates, or family members)
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on our products
• Remove or alter any copyright notices or branding
• Use the materials for commercial purposes

Intellectual Property

• All content, including text, images, and formatting, is owned by Mr K Psychology
• Purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials
• Copyright and all intellectual property rights remain with Mr K Psychology

4. Physical Products – Delivery and Returns

Delivery

• Physical products are dispatched within 3-5 working days of order confirmation
• Delivery times are estimates provided by our courier and may vary
• We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service or courier
• You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address
• Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery

Shipping Costs

• Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location
• Free shipping may be offered for orders over a certain value (when specified)

Returns and Refunds for Physical Products

In accordance with UK Consumer Rights Act 2015:

• You have 14 days from receipt to return unopened physical products for a full refund
• Products must be in original, unused condition with all packaging intact
• You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty
• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Damaged or Faulty Physical Products

• Inspect items upon delivery and report any damage within 48 hours
• Contact us at mrk@mrkpsychology.co.uk with photographic evidence
• We will arrange a replacement or full refund (including return shipping costs)
• Replacements will be sent within 5 working days of confirmation

5. Refund Policy – Digital Products

Exceptions – Faulty Digital Products

If a digital product is genuinely faulty, corrupted, or cannot be accessed due to a technical error on our part:

• Contact us at mrk@mrkpsychology.co.uk within 7 days of purchase
• Describe the issue in detail (including error messages or screenshots if applicable)
• We will investigate and provide a replacement file within 24 hours
• If we cannot resolve the issue, we will issue a full refund

What Does NOT Qualify for Refund

• Change of mind after downloading
• Purchasing the wrong product
• Compatibility issues with your device (check product descriptions before purchase)
• Dissatisfaction with content or style
• Failure to download within the 30-day access period

5A. Subscription Products – Recurring Payments

How Subscriptions Work

• When you purchase a subscription product, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at each billing cycle
• Billing cycles begin on the date of your initial purchase and recur monthly (or as specified)
• You will receive email confirmation of each successful payment
• Your subscription continues indefinitely until you cancel

Pricing and Payment

• Subscription prices are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase
• All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days’ notice via email
• Price changes do not affect your current billing cycle – they apply from your next renewal date
• If your payment method fails, we will attempt to contact you and may suspend access until payment is updated

Cancellation Policy

Access and Termination

• Access to subscription products is granted for the duration of your active subscription only
• Upon cancellation or non-payment, access will be terminated immediately after your paid period ends
• We do not provide refunds for unused time in a billing cycle
• We reserve the right to terminate subscriptions for violations of these Terms or misuse of the service
• Your subscription data (progress tracking, etc.) may be retained for 30 days after cancellation, after which it may be permanently deleted

Free Trials and Promotional Periods

If a subscription includes a free trial or promotional discount:

• Trial duration and pricing will be clearly stated at signup
• Your payment method will be charged automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand
• The same 72-hour cancellation notice applies to trials
• One free trial per customer (we may verify to prevent abuse)

No Refunds for Subscription Products

• Subscription fees are non-refundable
• If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a pro-rated refund
• Exception: If we fail to provide access due to technical issues on our end, we will issue a pro-rated refund or credit

6. Product Updates and Revisions

• Products are sold “as-is” at the time of purchase
• We may update products to reflect specification changes or correct errors
• Previous purchasers are NOT entitled to free updates unless explicitly stated
• Updated versions may be offered as new products or at a discounted upgrade price
• We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of significant updates via email

7. Educational Disclaimer

Accuracy and Content

• We make every effort to ensure content is accurate and aligned with AQA specifications
• However, exam specifications may change, and we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy at all times
• Students should verify information with official AQA resources and their teachers
• We are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the materials

Suitability

• Products are designed for students aged 16+ studying AQA A-Level Psychology
• You are responsible for determining whether a product is suitable for your needs
• Read product descriptions carefully before purchasing

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Mr K Psychology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product
• We are not liable for exam results, university admissions, or other educational outcomes
• We are not responsible for technical issues on your device preventing access to digital products

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

9. Data Protection

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By purchasing products, you agree to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Key points:

• We collect name, email, and billing information to process your order
• Payment details are securely processed by Stripe (we do not store card information)
• We retain transaction records for 6 years for tax purposes
• You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data
• For subscription products, we retain your progress and usage data for the duration of your subscription and 30 days after cancellation

10. Disputes and Governing Law

• We aim to resolve all issues within 7 working days

Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
• Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law. For guidance on your consumer rights, visit www.citizensadvice.org.uk

11. Changes to These Terms

• We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time
• Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date
• Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance
• Material changes will be communicated via email to registered customers

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
