Everything you need to know before booking.

Is this suitable for Year 12 and Year 13?
Yes — both sessions are relevant for Year 12 and Year 13 AQA students. Year 13 students will find the content most immediately applicable with exams approaching, but Year 12 students benefit significantly from building the right habits early.
Do I need to have my camera on?
No. Cameras are entirely optional for students. You can participate fully through the Zoom chat. There is no pressure to appear on screen.
Will the session be recorded?
The session is recorded by the host for safeguarding purposes only. This recording is not shared, distributed, or made available for replay. You will need to attend live to benefit.
What do I need to prepare for the free session?
Nothing in advance. Just bring yourself and ideally have a pen and paper or a notes app open. The free session is designed to be immediately useful from the first minute.
What is the pre-work for the paid session?
After booking you will receive a short form asking you to write your best attempt at two Research Methods questions. These are used anonymously in the script surgery segment. They take around 15–20 minutes to complete.
Is the paid session useful if I attend the free one first?
Yes — the free session covers one question type in full. The paid intensive covers all seven, with a full workbook, live practice across every type, and the 12-mark design question as the climax. They complement each other rather than repeat content.
What if I can’t attend on the date listed?
Places are non-refundable as they are strictly limited. If you cannot attend, please contact mrk@mrkpsychology.co.uk as soon as possible. Future dates will be announced on the website and social media.
I’m a parent — is this right for my child?
These sessions are designed for AQA A-Level Psychology students aged 16–18. The free session is a low-commitment way to see Mr K’s teaching style before committing to the paid intensive. Parents are welcome to attend the free session alongside their child.
